As an estate and tax planning consultant with Canada Life’s national estate and tax (NEAT) planning team, Brenda develops and implements advanced estate and tax planning strategies, and helps advisors deliver value-added services to a select group of clients in the business and affluent markets.
Prior to joining the NEAT team in 2001, Brenda managed her own law firm for nine years before merging her practice with a larger firm in Vancouver. She worked closely with small-business owners and professionals, developing expertise in corporate reorganizations, estate freezes, family trusts and succession planning for both entrepreneurs and families.
Brenda is an alumnus of the University of British Columbia, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1982, and her law degree in 1983.
She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Wills & Estates Subsection; the Vancouver Estate Planning Council; the Canadian Tax Foundation; and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Brenda is also an associate member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU).
Brenda has a particular interest in charitable giving and is a past director of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (Vancouver). A frequent lecturer on estate planning issues, Brenda is also an active community volunteer and fundraiser.

Rob Regan-Pollock became a mortgage broker in 1994 after a 10 year career as an airline pilot with Canadian Regional Airlines. He started as a junior broker for the Citifund group of companies, working his way up to Nominee and Manager of their Residential Division. In 1997 Rob moved to MPMC Mortgage Corp. and returned to working with clients as a full time broker. MPMC Mortgage Corp. merged with Invis in April 2001. Since then, Rob has progressively built his client base, and hired eight assistants to help him manage his book of business.
Rob’s passion for the industry has led him to serve as Chair of Professional Development for the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC from 2006 - 2011. Rob has also served on the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals Board of Directors as Director at Large representing MBABC interests in 2010. In 2010 Rob joined the Mortgage Brokers Institute of BC as a Director to assist in the development of Mortgage Broker relicensing education for the Province of British Columbia.
Rob’s wife of 21 years, Francine, also a mortgage broker, shares his enthusiasm for this great industry. When Rob is not working, he can be found enjoying the great outdoors or traveling.
