Overview:

The topics covered include: business basics, marketing, client segmentation, advice delivery, using technology and compliance to grow your business, and implementation of your business plan
 

Summary:

Through a series of Advocis Best Practices workshops facilitated by local board members, we are providing you with a venue to share ideas and focus on the growth of your own practice, while capitalizing on the ideas of your peers around the table.  We are offering the workshops to growth-oriented advisors who are in the process of building their business.  The objective of the workshops is to aid you in reflecting on your practice and determine what steps you need to take to ensure continued growth.  Most importantly, you will have an implementation plan to immediately put in place.

The workshop format is as follows:

Four 2 1/2 hour sessions running weekly throughout September 2011

• September 9th, 2011
• September 16th, 2011
• September 23rd, 2010
• September 30th, 2011

The number of participants in the workshop series will be kept to a minimum to ensure the sessions are highly interactive.

A small amount of pre-work will be required to prepare for a number of the workshops.

CE Accreditation:

This program has been approved for 9 CE Credits.  Attendance at all four sessions required.
